This versatile egg white substitute is great for making meringues, royal icing and anything else that calls for egg whites.
It's better than real egg whites for making the perfect meringue for a tart lemon pie, cookies that won't fall flat and smooth royal icing that dries to a hard, glossy finish.
Meringue powder is also great for stabilising buttercream in warmer temperatures. Add approx 1/2 T to 340g of buttercream during mixing. It will help the buttercream dry faster and hold its shape better.
