The Cake Craft Manual Airbrush includes a plastic pump and reservoir for quick and easy application of paint and glitter to cakes, cupcakes, chocolates, desserts and other sweet creations.

Please note that this manual pump is best for general coverage of colour, dust and glitter. We recommend investing in an electric airbrush if you are requiring fine detail.

How to Use:
For a uniform application, do not apply too close to your product, and maintain a smooth, even pace using horizontal movements when applying your colour. It is advised to test on some paper, some buttercream, some rolled fondant or the back of your cake prior to applying, to check concentration and ensure a smooth drip-free application. Adjust mix as needed after testing.
Wet Application:
Fill reservoir with your chosen dust mixed with clear alcohol (grain, vodka, white rum), clear extract (vanilla, lemon, butter) or an essence (rose, vanilla, etc.). With the reservoir pointing down, pump the airbrush to paint. Add more layers to build up colour.
Tip: Ensure your mix is concentrated and thoroughly mixed for best results. Spray solution onto a piece of paper to test. If the spray drips down, it is too wet and you will need to add more dust to the mix.
Dry Application:
Remove straw from pump, fill reservoir with your chosen dust or glitter, and reassemble airbrush. With the airbrush upside down so that the reservoir is pointed upwards, pump to apply your glitter.
Tip: Ensure your pump and reservoir are completely dry and clean before switching to a dry application. Fine glitter rather than coarse glitter should be used to avoid clogging the pump.
Storage & Care:
Wash and dry Airbrush thoroughly after each use.
Store Airbrush in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
